Untitled

Untitled?...as an English major, I know that the title of a research paper/thesis/etc. typically has so much power. It's one of the writer's few places where he or she can be as telling or mysterious as wanted. But, "Untitled"- it's a title in and of itself- its ambiguity/ my intent to not use words to describe, to explain...that kind of has its own power...

....sometimes not saying anything, not writing anything...that says more...right? and sometimes other people say it better than we can ourselves. With the start of the New Year, I guess I should say a passing peace to 2011. I could write about a lot of things. way. too. many. things, but to be honest, I don't want to take the time. Ironically enough, I think Jim and Dwight(from the Office haha) take the cake in summing up most of 2011...

Jim: I just couldn't take it. I mean, I lost it Dwight. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't concentrate on anything. Even weird stuff, like food had no taste. So my solution was to move away. It was awful. It was something that I wouldn't wish even on my worst enemy, and that includes you.

Dwight: [sobbing, reaches out to Jim after he walked away]

so long 2011. you were a year unlike any other. comprised of m-a-n-y highs.lows.challenges.etc. and full of growing and fumbling to depend upon solely the consistent and persistent nature of the Lord Jesus.  and well that...I really and truly can't bring myself to complain about that at all. so. for all of 2011, God was good to me, as He is to ALL of us- and because of that I have ridiculous peace and joy that so many unfortunately go without. I'm eager and exciteddd to see what 2012 has in store, and I'm SO glad that God is the author who is penning all of our "Untitled" futures.
