I'll Take It

So while at home this weekend, I spent a good amount of time working on personal statements for admissions. Lots of writing yada-yada-yada about why I'd be good at yada-yada-yada...you know, the basics.

Anyhow, naturally as I was pondering where I'd be in the next few years, I was also exploring Pinterest.com...multi-tasking? procrastinating? I'll let you decide. If you've never heard of Pinterest and you're a woman, GOOD. steer clear- it's full of fun crafting ideas, decorating tips, fashion, photography, etc...all in all- it's a smorgasbord of addictive material waiting to grab hold of our oohing and ahhing tendencies...needless to say, I indulged myself today. and do I regret it? absolutely not.

So while browsing around (and thinking of what to write in my essays- I was absolutely focused...a little...maybe some...not at all)...IT HIT ME....

turns out my dream house is for sale!!! Ever since seeing "Marley & Me"a couple years ago, my eyes have never looked upon another house with such adoration. love at first sight may exist after all...haha don't kid yourselves.

But I did seem to fall in love at first sight with this house! Its picture popped up on Pinterest, stating that the legendary "Marley & Me" house is out on the market- ready for bidders. It may be embarrassing to admit, but I do think my mouth dropped open as I looked through the pictures and contemplated how much money I had...maybe there were some hidden piggy banks that hadn't been tapped into in years...those pigs bellies can get pretty full, right? fat as a pig and all...only, only, onlyyy $ 1.25 million

hahahaha YEAH RIGHT. let's be real. even if I collected all the forgotten piggy bank cash in the world, I doubt it'd come out to that. And, with my probable salary, I'm looking at a muchhh more down-to-earth home which is absolutely fine by me. I'm sure I'll love my first tiny house with my whole heart...

........but hey, they don't call it a dream house for nothing, and sometimes a girl can only dream....even if it is just for kicks ; )
