Remember Me?

To all of you readers out there (if you do indeed exist), how ya doin? It's been a while.

Now that summer is in full swing, I should be better about updating here. Despite my lack of blogging, there has been plenty that I've wanted to write about. Lots of "Capital E-Exciting" things have been happening these past few months so instead of bombarding you with a lengthy description of them, I figured I'd just hit a couple of the highlights:

Since we last talked...

1. I had a birthday!! I am now at the age where you solely get older and wiser with each new year...no new privileges or rights will be gained...just more wisdom and understanding shall be attained...righttttt. I got to celebrate down at the lake with good friends and family. It was low-key and fabulous. I slipped into my older and wiser self while sitting out on the boat at my favorite place in the world. I didn't even realize it was my birthday until I saw fire bobbing down the dock towards me- my cousin, H with a piece of birthday cake and candles. Can ya say, perfectttt? I awakened to fresh coffee and sleepy morning conversation on the porch with my cousin, L. The rest of the day was spent doing a smorgasbord of fun things with funnnn people. It was perfect. 22 isn't too shabby so far...not shabby at all, in fact.

2. I ran in three races (which is a rarity now that I'm done with the good ole cross country days)...in three consecutive weekends...not the best planning on my part, but it was worth it. They were all incredibly fun...a few snapshots to prove it...

3. University proposed...I said, "Yes!!!"...I like him for his brains and his loyalty...it's like, he just can't seem to get enough of me. but seriously.

unfortunately, the proposal came as a surprise so I didn't touch up my nails beforehand in order to properly show off the ring...it's cool though, he loves me inside-and-out.

4. I graduated. walked across the stage. shook hands. got my official BA status...whattttup, hiring world?! Keep me in mind for two years down the road...(puh-leasssssse)

5. Cupid has been a very sharp shooter recently with several of my friends. Engagement season is well underway!

and with all the love and new bling-bling getting flashed, celebrations were in store...

6. Cupid hit through and through with these two lovebirds. Meet the new husband and wife!!!

7. Babysitting and petsitting have become my new hobbies. And by hobby, I mean job. I have become an expert at tag, character voices in books, and how to prepare frozen pizza in justtt the right manner. There have been plenty of funny stories to accompany all of the kids, and it's made my summer pretty cheery so far.

I could pay tribute to plenty of other happenings as well, but I'm thinking I'll save more for later. To sum it all up, I'd say the past few months have been full of joyous occasions and exciting transitions. I have my God to thank for that. It says in John 1:16, "From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another." True, true, true.
